Diggins-Smith Scores 28 In Loss

Skylar-Diggins-Smith scored 28 points and dished out 7 assists in the Dallas Wings (4-7) 97-87 loss to the Los Angeles Sparks (6-3) before 7,233 at the Staples Center.

The Wings got off to a slow start, going scoreless for five minutes. and found themselves behind 23-8 at the end of the first quarter.

Chelsea Gray (24 points) and Nneka Ogwumike (21 points) finished 15-18 as the Sparks shot 57% from the field. Candace Parker added 17 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.

Glory Johnson scored 10 points and Allisha Gray added twelve for the Wings who have lost 5 of their last 6. The Wings head home to take on the New York Liberty Friday on Pride Night.
