The Dallas Wings scrapped back from a 26-12 first quarter deficit to beat the defending WNBA Champion Los Angeles Sparks 96-90 before a crowd of 3,169 at the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas. Glory Johnson was a force in the paint. She scored 24 points, snatched 12 rebounds and blocked two shots battling two All-Stars, Candace Parker and Nneka Ogwumike, to a draw.
Skylar Diggins-Smith chipped in 13 points, 8 assists and two steals. She was matched up for much of the game with her former Wings teammate Odyssey Sims. Sims came off the bench to score 12 points and hand out five assists.
