Athlete Profile: Maddie Shubert

Maddie Shubert is member of The Texas A&M-Commerce cross country and track teams. She is a freshman from Rowlett, Texas.

Maddie competed in four cross country meets in 2016… She set a best time of 20:33.5 in the 5K at the Chile Pepper Festival (10/1)… Placed eighth in the 5K at the Lois Davis Invitational (10/8)… Placed 49th in the 6K at the LSC Championships (10/22).

Maddie ran a 5:14.95 in the 1500 meters at the Bobby Lane Invitational at UTA and finished in 29th place.

Maddie was a four-year letter winner in cross country and a three-year winner in track and field at Rowlett… She was a District Champion in the 3200-meters… Was named First Team All-District, MVP and was an Eagle Award winner.
